WILMINGTON CITY COUNCIL VOTES TO TAKE PRIVATE PROPERY

"The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If `Thou shalt not covet' and `Thou shalt not steal' were not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society before it can be civilized or made free."-- John Adams (A Defense of the American Constitutions, 1787)
It's obvious that the high moral principles that formed the bedrock of our society are beyond the intellectual abilities and moral comprehension of the prostitutes for wealthy developers and arrogant boobs who infest the Wilmington City Council and the self consumed snot-nosed gentry wanna-bees who have migrated to Christiana Landing. The principle of eminent domain was created to obtain the necessary land to build highways, railroads, and other such things. It was never intended to be used as a tool for powerful developers and their stooge politicians to rip off the land of hard working private citizens or to placate the sensitivities of a privileged group of johnny come latelies whose little worlds are unsettled by the presence of small businesses and homes near their new residences.
I wonder which one of our God given rights will be attacked next as our freedom gradually disapears and our society corrodes.
