An Open Letter to President Obama
Dear Mr. President,
I am greatly disappointed in your decision to allow the destruction of human life in the name of scientific research. Not only has embryonic stem cell research not yielded a cure or even the promise of a cure for any disease or genetic disorder. Embryonic stem cells are extremely unstable and have caused tumors when used in animal testing. Adult stem cell research holds much promise and has already been used sucessfully to treat a number of medical conditions.
Above and beyond all that you are participating not only in the destruction of human life but in the abuse of human life. Your actions have released our tax dollars and the blessing of the Federal Governemtn to greed driven and contemptible men and women who have no respect for human life as long as there is a dollar to be made. Your actions enable the subjection of human life to experimentation and murder that can only be compared to the experiments of the Nazis and Japanese on helpless prisoners during World War 2.
The most basic understanding and respect for human life and decency is definately beyond your paygrade sir and beyond the range of your moral compass.
