Problem is we sinful human beings want mercy without truth
We stumble around in a dark world where for many evil is called good, truth is relative, narcissism is exalted, perversion is normalized and covetousness is promoted !
The elitists and the arrogant call it progress but it's nothing but a return to vacuous paganism with a little bit of a highbrow facade.
Jesus said " I am the way the truth and the life ! In His mercy He paid the price for our sins on the cross. He was and is without sin, holy, righteous, The Lamb of God, The Son of God, God Himself ! There's no way around it ! No escape, and still we try to cover up our pain, ignore our fears, and massage our egos as we spend our lives running from God until that inevitable day when we meet Him face to face. What we we have to say then ?
